Dear John,
We thank God for the Kotebe Mission in Ethiopia that run last week from 22nd to 26th December. By God's grace, 61,952 people were reached through proclamation events in Kotebe, proclamation through continuity, Covid 19 Emergency Response initiatives and student discipleship programs.
Of these, 1,626 came to the faith and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Discipleship of the new believers will be done in the next six months by AEE Ethiopia in partnership with Kotebe Area churches, after which the preservation initiatives will be left to the churches.
This is expected to be done through integration, training and capacity building as well as small groups engagements. See the detailed report attached.

Prayer Points
- Pray for the new converts that they will devote themselves to grow in the new faith and be transformed into Christ’s likeness
- Pray for the Kotebe churches to do well on preservation,
- Pray for the church leaders in Kotebe to maintain their spiritual unity and become more vibrant in doing evangelism
