[link removed] [[link removed]]December 2021

It’s difficult to believe that 2022 is just a few days away. As we close out Pro-Israel America’s third year, I’m reminded of our original mission when we first launched in early 2019: to transform pro-Israel politics by engaging grassroots supporters to help elect pro-Israel candidates.
And that’s exactly what we’ve done. We entered 2021 with decisive victories from our first election cycle, where some 95% of our endorsed candidates up for election in November 2020 won their races. In February, we were the first pro-Israel organization to endorse now-Representative Shontel Brown in the OH-11 special election, helping her secure an incredible victory against a well-known and well-funded anti-Israel candidate.
In May, as Hamas fired thousands of rockets at Israel, Pro-Israel America stood up for our ally Israel and helped lift up the voices of members of Congress who advocated for Israel’s right to defend itself, by itself. We launched ads [[link removed]] holding members of Congress accountable for their immoral and anti-Israel votes against Iron Dome funding, and continue to target Senator Rand Paul, who is singlehandedly blocking unanimous consent for funding in the Senate.
We also made critical early endorsements for the 2022 election year, helping to support over 70 candidates, including 43 Democrats and 31 Republicans, with a particular focus on pro-Israel candidates facing tough re-election battles, and anti-Israel candidates in those races. As I note in a new blog post [[link removed]] below, 2021’s special elections have demonstrated that pro-Israel stances aren’t just good policy – they’re good politics.
To close out this final newsletter of the year, I simply would like to thank you . We could not have achieved any of our successes in 2021 without your support. Because of your involvement, we were able to send a strong message to the small but vocal group of anti-Israel members that their actions embolden terrorists across the world and will certainly not be tolerated.
We hope that you enjoy this look back at all you have helped us achieve in 2021. All our best wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a healthy and happy new year.
Best,
Jeff
READ: Times of Israel – To 2022 Candidates: Pro-Israel Stances are Good Policy and Good Politics “We are less than three months away from the first primary elections for the 2022 cycle, including races for some of the strongest supporters of the U.S.-Israel relationship who are facing anti-Israel primary opponents. That’s why Pro-Israel America has already endorsed over 70 candidates for 2022 – with more to come. But results from this year’s special elections should already make clear to next year’s congressional hopefuls that staking anti-Israel positions is not only bad policy – it’s bad politics.” READ MORE from PIA’s Executive Director Jeff Mendelsohn in his Times of Israel column [[link removed]] .

# [#]OVER 70 ENDORSED CANDIDATES FOR THE 2022 ELECTION CYCLE
[link removed] [[link removed]]Pro-Israel America has already endorsed over 70 congressional candidates for 2022, including 43 Democrats and 31 Republicans, with a particular focus on pro-Israel incumbents facing tough re-election battles, and anti-Israel candidates in those races and in open seat races.
Of these candidates, more than 30 have been designated as “ key races [[link removed]] ” which include pro-Israel incumbents facing competitive primaries and general elections as well as races between pro-Israel champions and anti-Israel opponents.
You can learn more about how you can help support these important races on our PAC website [[link removed]] .
# [#]Members of Congress Commended Pro-Israel America’s Important Work
[link removed] [[link removed]]Pro-Israel America has a proven track record. In 2020 we raised over $3 million for pro-Israel candidates and helped elect 70 pro-Israel members of Congress. In 2021, we raised more than $800,000 for Shontel Brown’s campaign through Pro-Israel America PAC and helped propel her to a stunning primary victory. But don’t take our word for it. In a video message, Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) and Representatives Don Bacon (R-NE), Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA), Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), Elaine Luria (D-VA), and Michael McCaul (R-TX) talk about the importance of our work to mobilize grassroots activists and donors to support pro-Israel candidates.

Big Special Election Win in OH-11
[link removed] [[link removed]]In February, we were the first pro-Israel organization to endorse Rep. Shontel Brown in the OH-11 special election. With Shontel Brown’s big primary win in August and general election win in November, the pro-Israel grassroots community once again clearly demonstrated its conviction and willingness to step up for candidates who value the U.S.-Israel relationship – and that being an outspoken critic of Israel will not be cost-free politically.
We are incredibly proud to have mobilized our Pro-Israel America community behind Shontel Brown’s campaign, raising over $800,000 for the now Congresswoman. Pro-Israel America Action Fund mobilized volunteer activists who sent over 200,000 texts and made more than 40,000 calls to voters in OH-11 and reached more than 40,000 in-district voters through micro-targeted digital ads and a detailed primary guide [[link removed]] . PIA United’s local billboards were viewed more than 1.4 million times.
