John, there are only a few days left until 2022, which means we have two options in the fight for fair maps:
Option One:
We can get complacent and fall short of our $199,000 fundraising goal.
If that happens, the GOP could be one step closer to getting away with their plans to undermine our democracy by implementing gerrymandered maps and restricting voting rights. Then the next elections could be over before people even have a chance to vote.
Option Two:
We can heed President Obama, who said “With focus, persistence, and, yes, a little bit of hope, I know we can put power back in the hands of the people."
We can dig deep and do what it takes to hit our goal. Grassroots supporters like you can chip in before the year ends. If that happens, we’ll have more resources to fight for fair maps across the country and to support the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act in Congress.
