There are only two days left in 2021. That means we’re running out of time to
reach our most important fundraising goal of the year.
A group of generous donors has contributed $400,000 to
encourage supporters like you to match their gifts. [ [link removed] ]We hope you’ll take
advantage of this December Matching Gift Challenge with a gift before
midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Your gift can help us respond quickly when we’re needed, like when the Mt.
Nyiragongo volcano erupted earlier this year. The searing lava cut off
water for more than 550,000 people in my country, the Democratic Republic
of Congo.
Since our team members — most of them from the DRC like me — were already
in place, Mercy Corps was able to respond immediately to avoid a secondary
crisis, bringing in tanker trucks with 235,000 liters of drinking water.

Following the DRC’s Mt. Nyiragongo volcanic eruption in May, Mercy Corps
provided water to more than 31,000 people in the area.
From the foot of the Mt. Nyiragongo volcano to displacement camps in Syria
and Ethiopia, Mercy Corps is committed to improving water, sanitation, and
hygiene (WASH) around the world. But we can’t do that without the support
of everyone in our global community — including you. Please make your tax-deductible gift
today. We welcome donations by credit card, Paypal, and Apple Pay.
