Friend, The clock is ticking! In just a little over 48 hours from now – at midnight on Dec. 31 – we have to end our special year-end gift-matching campaign. That means if you want to seize this opportunity to double the impact of your support of the SPLC, you’ll have to hurry! If you haven’t heard yet, a group of generous supporters has offered to match year-end gifts made to the SPLC, dollar for dollar. Any gift you make by midnight on Dec. 31 will essentially be doubled in size, at no cost to you – and because we have such big plans for 2022 (and beyond), we need all the support we can get. Those plans include strengthening our already world-class coverage of hate and extremism in our nation – an endeavor that feels more important than ever as the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 6 Capitol Insurrection nears. We’re also doubling down on our support of voting rights in the Deep South and beyond, pledging $100 million to support voter engagement and pro-democracy groups over the next decade as part of our Vote Your Voice initiative. And of course, we’ll continue our day-in, day-out legal work in support of the people and communities bearing the burdens of discrimination, systemic racism and entrenched poverty. We are only able to do this work thanks to the continued support of people like you – allies who believe in our mission to advance the human rights of all people, in the South and beyond. Once again, if you’d like to double the impact of your support, the next two days are your chance. Gifts made to the SPLC before midnight on Dec. 31 will automatically be matched dollar for dollar – but this offer must end when 2022 arrives.
