The centerpiece of 40 Days for Life is a 40-day prayer vigil outside an abortion center or referral center – it’s bringing your Christian witness to the place where babies’ lives – and their parents’ souls – are in extreme danger.
And your local 40 Days for Life campaign leader needs your help.
Some may not be called to pray in the public right-of-way outside these facilities or are unable to do so. But we do ask that you please pray, every day, wherever you are!

Know that it is normal to have a little fear the first time you go out. I had it and so has everyone else who has participated in 40 Days for Life. But that's why it's a prayer vigil, God is with you and your witness can save a life from abortion.
In fact former abortion workers say that the “no show” rate for an abortion appointment goes as high as 75% when there are people praying outside. That's enough for us to overcome our natural hesitation!

When you get to your local campaign webpage, you’ll see a green “sign up for vigil hours button.” Please click it!
If you have an account in the 40 Days for Life website, you’ll be taken to a calendar where you can choose the days and hours you would like to volunteer to pray. If you don’t yet have an account, you’ll be asked to give us your name and email address to get you started.
