your year-end support is more important than ever.



We've got a
very
slim majority in Congress — and with midterms coming in 2022, losing just a few seats could take it away, and make things even harder. We remain fiercely committed, and confident, that the Biden administration can pursue big and bold efforts across the federal government and find a legislative path forward to ensure strong clean energy standards to mitigate the climate crisis, safeguard 30% of our lands and waters, and end oil and gas pollution that disproportionately harms communities of color.



And it's going to be hard — the fossil fuel industry is spending millions to lobby Congress, wage misleading campaigns and block environmental action. They'll fight progress on environmental justice tooth and nail, and ignore the science showing we're in a state of climate emergency. Those forces already helped dramatically shrink climate and justice spending in the bipartisan infrastructure deal and Build Back Better Act,
and there's no telling what they'll do in 2022.



But the cost of inaction is too high. So we need to fight as hard as we can in 2022. Supporter, can we count on you to make a gift and help support our work?

We've stayed strong in the long, difficult work to build back stronger environmental protections after four years of the Trump administration. Our Chapters have continued to work for key safeguards in the places where you live — and they're primed to do more.
