In just about 2 days, we close the books on our first official fundraising deadline since beating the far-right Republican recall.

And when it ends, we’re legally required to report not just how much money we raised, but we’ll also share the number of donations we received to make up that total.

One of the reasons we faced that ridiculous recall was because the far-right thought they could catch us by surprise. That’s their hope for Gavin Newsom’s re-election as well.

But a good report — with a lot of donations — will show it won’t happen and can save us a lot of trouble down the road.

So one of the best ways to keep California blue in 2022 is to take action before our end-of-year deadline. So we’re asking:

Can you please make a $3 contribution to Gavin Newsom’s re-election campaign before our official fundraising deadline comes to a close and we’re legally required to report our fundraising numbers?
