| Dear John, Thank you for all you’ve done during this challenging year to protect kids from the dangers of vaping and the predatory behavior of Big Tobacco. Our grassroots army continues to grow, and together we are having an impact. Here are some of the things PAVe volunteers have helped us accomplish in 2021: - Send thousands of letters to FDA through our website, urging the agency to deny applications for JUUL and all flavored e-cigarettes, during our Back to School, Not Back to JUUL campaign.
- Share families’ personal stories of teen nicotine addiction, drawing attention to the ongoing youth vaping crisis.
- Advocate alongside our coalition partners for important policy changes at state and local levels across the country, promoting an end to sales of all flavored tobacco products and fighting tobacco industry tactics.
- Lead dozens of educational webinars at national, state and community levels in both English and Spanish.
- Launch Clear the Vapor, our inaugural conference, which brought new partners, parents, families and schools into the PAVe network and gathered some of the greatest experts working to tackle youth tobacco use across all communities.

- Move the needle on emerging issues like synthetic nicotine, non-nicotine vapes, "iced" menthol flavors, and environmental harms, bringing needed attention and investment to critical newer aspects of this ever-evolving fight.
