Every three months, our team maps out our fundraising goals so that we can continue to focus our time and energy on doing the best we possibly can for New Mexico’s communities. At the end of the quarter, the Federal Election Commission reports our fundraising totals out to the public, which folks look at to make judgments about the strength of our campaign. This Friday marks the end of the last quarter of the year, and we’re counting on our best supporters to step up. Will you make a donation before our FEC filing deadline? That’s because Republicans have already raised tens of millions of dollars to break our slim Democratic majority in the Senate. It won’t be easy. Running a successful campaign is expensive, but we need to hold on to our Democratic Senate majority because we’ve got a lot more work to do. Republican-run state legislatures are passing extreme laws gutting voting rights and undermining reproductive freedom, and we can’t count on the conservative-stacked Supreme Court to stop them.
