John,
Republicans will stop at nothing to win in
Georgia, even if it means eroding democracy.
After passing legislation to restrict the right
to vote, Georgia Republicans also gave themselves the power to
interfere with county election commissions. They’ve seized
control, and have quietly reorganized the boards to remove Black
Democrats advocating for expanding voting rights.
This is wrong, and we need to fight it. Will you
pitch in before our end of quarter deadline to support our work
on voting rights today?

Let’s be clear, this has nothing to do with
election security. Republicans are trying to stop Black folks
from voting. Remember, Georgia used to be protected under the
Voting Rights Act because of Jim Crow laws that explicitly
prohibited Black people from voting. But the GOP made sure that
protection was stripped away.
Republicans taking over local election commissions
is a scary thought, especially with competitive elections next
year that could decide control of the Senate. We need to fight
back now.
Do you support expanding access to vote? Chip in
today before the end of the quarter so we can show our strength.
