John,
Looking back on everything that’s happened in the immigration space can feel daunting – from high hopes on Biden’s Day One immigration actions to unaccompanied children at our border to the evacuation of Afghan allies, we’ve seen just how much work there is to be done to build a safer, more just immigration system.
But we’ve also seen what’s possible when we come together.
Throughout the challenges of this year, your support has allowed us to continue advocating for these communities, pushing for more humane policies, and telling better stories about immigrants and immigration.
We’ve already got big plans to expand and build on this
work in 2022 – that’s why we’ve set a year-end fundraising goal of $50,000. Help us reach our goal and receive a free sticker!
With your support, we’ve
continued to build bipartisan support for policies that honor the dignity of immigrants and solidify their opportunity to thrive.
In a time of extremism and polarization, making these conversations happen is more important – and more challenging – than ever.
Here’s some of what your support made possible this year:
- Advocated for vulnerable Afghans as we continue to push for the passage of the Afghan Adjustment Act.
- Led the creation of the Council on National Security and Immigration to build bipartisan, expert-led support for immigration in the national security community.
- Sparked new conversations on immigration’s role in our country’s future workforce through our Room to Grow paper.
- Expanded our advocacy and education efforts for Dreamers in the wake of Judge Andrew Hanen’s ruling against DACA.
- Conducted polling to further understand bipartisan support for immigration solutions.
- Helped equip communities to push back against hate with our Great Replacement Theory explainer and resources.
- Drove forward-looking conversations with lawmakers, business and faith leaders, national security experts, refugee resettlement experts and more as part of our Leading the Way convening.
Donate now to help us continue this work and receive a free sticker for your support.
Through these activities, we continually see all the ways immigrants keep our country not just safe and healthy, but dynamic and innovative. From farmworkers to doctors to grocery store employees to small business owners, we’re honored to continue this work and set even more ambitious goals in 2022.
Bottom line: Immigrants are essential – and so are you.
Thank you for all you do to support immigrants, refugees and a better
conversation about our future.
