As we approach the end of the year, my team and I are taking a moment to step back and reflect on a transformative and challenging year.

In the House, we passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the American Rescue Plan, the For the People Act, the Women’s Health Protection Act, the Equality Act, the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, the Dream and Promise Act – and so much more.

And House Democrats passed the Build Back Better Act, historic legislation that puts working families first. It includes provisions to reduce the cost of child care, send all our kids to Pre-K, ensure a living wage for caregivers, and make significant investments in our fight against the climate crisis.

John, ALL of this work would not have been possible without our Democratic majority. Many of these bills passed with NO Republican votes. With our House majority on the line, we will have to fight to bring home a victory for Democrats up and down the ballot and protect the gains we’ve made this year.
