Friend, this is astonishing.

Radiofrequency energy has been linked to developmental, neurological and cognitive harms, and has even been linked to an increased risk of brain and heart cancer.

But the U.S. government’s rules on radiofrequency are woefully outdated. That’s why this year, EWG published our own health-based limits to protect children from radiofrequency radiation emitted by wireless devices like cell phones. The results? EWG’s limits are 200 to 400 times lower than what the federal government allows.

We need you to weigh in now:

Should the government take action on cell phone radiation?

Research suggests that children’s bodies are at even greater risk from radiofrequency energy, as they absorb more radiation, compared to adults. Yet the Federal Communications Commission hasn’t updated its radiofrequency limits since 1996. Outrageous!

There’s no question that we need more research on radiofrequency radiation. Can we count on you to take EWG’s quick survey on cell phone radiation today? Your response will help us advocate for better FCC standards and support our cutting-edge research.
