In just a moment, I'm going to ask you to make a contribution to my re-election campaign. Please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.

Here's the truth:

Democrats are delivering for the American people! We passed the American Rescue Plan which increased the Child Tax Credit during the worst public health crisis in decades and we passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to repair our crumbling infrastructure and fight climate change.

But we still have a lot of work ahead of us.

Extremist Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar are working to undermine our democracy. We have to fend off their attacks and continue to deliver for the American people.

And soon, we’ll close the books on our last fundraising deadline of 2021. So we’re racing to the deadline on Friday to hit our 1,000 contribution goal and finish this month on the strongest note possible. It’s a big goal, but one I think we can achieve together.
