John, I want to thank everyone who took the time to respond to my public safety survey earlier this month. I will use your thoughts and concerns to shape my work on Council as we head into the new year.

Over 85% of respondents expressed that you’d like to see increased background checks and regulations to obtain guns, and nearly 70% of you expressed the need for police reform in Philadelphia.

We have a lot of work ahead of us in the new year, and I’m ready to get to work on these issues and more.
