The House majority is on the line in 2022, and I am fired up to protect it. That's why I asked my friend Chris Pappas if I could write to you today. I hope you'll let me explain.

Earlier this month, I was in New Hampshire with Chris. I saw firsthand how hard he works to deliver results for his district. Chris is a fighter for Granite Staters -- we’ve worked together to lower the cost of prescription drugs, expand affordable health care, protect our democracy, support our veterans, and keep our drinking water safe.

But House Republicans know Chris is a fearless fighter, and they're desperate to replace him with a Trump-aligned candidate. This is one of the most competitive districts in the country, and National Republicans have been attacking Chris left and right. GOP leaders have publicly said they're going to try to use redistricting to prevent him from getting re-elected.

To put it bluntly, the deck isn't stacked in Chris's favor. But he's beaten the odds time and again, and he tells me that's because of this grassroots team.

National Republicans only need to flip five seats to take back the House majority -- that's why they're focused on flipping competitive seats like Chris's.

Control of the House could very well come down to New Hampshire, and the Republicans trying to take him on are as extreme as they come. They include multiple former Trump White House staffers and proponents of the Big Lie. We can't let them win.
