Dear John,
When Tilda was pulled off the streets, her hair was so overgrown and matted it cut off the circulation to her left-front paw, leaving her hobbled and defenseless. She was truly on her last legs.

Tilda is safe now. Once at the PAWS Chicago Medical Center we shaved her painfully tangled fur and performed surgery on her mangled paw. We couldn't save her leg, but we did save her life. Tilda has one more surgery in her future, but she’s already feeling so much better.

Without your support, we wouldn’t be telling this story, and Tilda’s fate would have been heartbreaking, not hopeful.
Thank you for keeping homeless pets in your heart during this special time of year.

P.S. We matched our 4000th adoption of the year!
Meet Bach. We'll share his incredible story in our January newsletter. Sneak peek: It took our team of veterinary experts to save him with a complicated surgery involving his liver and his heart. He's now thriving because of supporters like you. Please include pets like Tilda and Bach in your year-end giving.
