Dear friends,

Below, you will find a range of reviews, articles and commentaries about our recently published book.

TESTIMONIO addresses four courageous, dangerous community defense struggles against the harms and violence of global mining companies (mainly Canadian, also American and Swiss) that Rights Action has been supporting and involved with since 2004.

Your funds at work!
Thank-you to our individual supporters and foundations. Your donations go directly to supporting these Indigenous and campesino land, human rights and environmental defenders.

In 2022, we will continue to support these and other community defense, and human rights and justice struggles in Guatemala and Honduras. We will continue to denounce the roles and responsibilities of the U.S. and Canadian governments, our companies and investors, in these on-going harms and violence.

TESTIMONIO Book launch, Oct.25, 2021
Co-editors Catherine Nolin and Grahame Russell discuss their powerful new book on the date of its publication, along with several of the book's contributors. Testimonio draws on over thirty years of community-based research and direct community support work in Guatemala to expose the ruthless state machinery that benefits the Canadian mining industry—a staggeringly profitable juggernaut of exploitation, sanctioned and supported every step of the way by the Canadian government.
