Hey John,
With the end of the year approaching fast, I wanted to take a second to write and say thank you for being one of our dedicated supporters over the past year.
I can safely say the NDRC -- and the entire movement to end partisan gerrymandering -- would be in a much worse position without help from people like you. And our work isn’t over yet!
Before you sign off for New Year’s, will you take a second to pitch in toward our $199,000 end-of-year goal?
The holidays may be here, but Republican map manipulators aren’t taking any time off. There are still plenty of states that have yet to adopt their maps, which means we need to stay on guard to make sure those states pass maps that fairly represent our communities.
And even in states where Republicans have already passed gerrymandered maps, the fight isn’t over yet. The NDRC has supported voters in lawsuits to ensure fair maps. But we’re counting on help from grassroots donors like you to help fund all of our work.
We have a lot of big and exciting plans for 2022, but whether we’ll be able to carry them out depends on whether we meet our fundraising goals. To stay on track, we need to raise $199,000 before the clock strikes midnight on January 1st -- or else we risk not having the funds we need to push back against Republican gerrymanders in the new year!
