We haven't even finished 2021, and next year's midterm elections are already heating up. The fight with the GOP for the House majority is already underway, and with just a five-seat majority, we need to protect every seat. That is why I'm going to ask you to support my friend Ed Perlmutter's reelection campaign for Colorado's 7th district. But first, let me tell you a little bit about him.

Ed Perlmutter is a lifelong Coloradan, a dedicated public servant, and one of the hardest working people I know. Ed has always fought for our Colorado values and to make an economy that is strong and burgeons opportunity.

Since he was first elected, Ed has made it a priority to listen to his constituents and make sure that everyone can take part in the American Dream. He has been a strong advocate for funding for renewable energy, job creation for everyday working people, and ensuring every American has affordable health care and retirement security. He is one of the finest Democrats this state can offer, and we know that keeping him in office is essential in 2022.

But after redistricting, Colorado's 7th district seat is becoming significantly more competitive -- and national Republicans have made him a top target.
