BREAKING: Donald Trump weighs into the Ohio Senate race.
Trump asked for TV ads in the race that criticize him to be taken off the air out of fear they will hurt him in the future as he looks ahead to 2024 and another potential run.
“Trump’s intervention in the [Ohio Senate] race illustrates how he views the 2022 midterm election: as a tool to bolster and measure his own political standing ahead of a potential 2024 bid.” - POLITICO

Recently when asked, Trump said it’s only a matter of time before he officially endorses his preferred candidate in the Ohio Senate race.
Trump is getting involved in our state’s race to bolster his own political influence and a candidate who will be loyal to his dangerous agenda. And while Trump uses Ohio as a stepping stool for his own political ambitions, Josh Mandel, J.D. Vance, Jane Timken, and all the other candidates in the GOP primary are desperately competing for Trump’s endorsement.
Ohio is a critical 2022 battleground, and Trump knows it. We do, too, and that’s why we’re working to build a strong grassroots organization that has what it takes to elect Dignity of Work candidates in Ohio and across the country next year.
But we can’t do it without people like you getting involved. Please chip in any amount you can before the last FEC deadline of the year.
Thank you,
Team Sherrod
