Dear Friend,

The 2010s were BIG BIG BIG! We moved to a new metro headquarters building in downtown LA and soon after opened the Children & Youth Center @ POV. These moves allowed us to continue our expansion and respond to increased community need for services. Our programming saw tremendous growth: we were established as a Trauma Recovery Center; we co-created Trauma Resilience Integration Using Multiple Pathways to Healing (TRIUMPH) providing alternative modalities to healing; and our internship program continued to grow. Our Voices Over Violence survivor speakers' bureau was formed, supporting survivors to share their stories publicly. And, through corporate partnerships, Denim Day goes global and reaches millions! POV is an established and nationally recognized leader in the violence prevention and intervention movement..

POV has accomplished so much in the last five decades. ([link removed]) As much as there has been progress, there is still so much left to do… and we are not done. The question for all of us as a society is:

** where do we go from here?
------------------------------------------------------------
We remain committed to growth and innovation. We are constantly expanding and adapting to meet the ever changing needs of the communities we serve and to participate in the necessary solutions.

Where does POV go after 50 years? We can’t go anywhere without you. Your support will set the agenda for the next decades to come: an agenda of healing, violence prevention, social transformation, family resiliency, community building --- and more peace over violence.

We know survivors’ greatest need during times of crisis is direct cash assistance. Fifteen percent of all money raised during this year-end campaign will go to our Survivors Direct Assistance Fund, distributed to survivors in the Los Angeles area.
