Is it Wednesday? Are you keeping track? That’s the point: the holidays have just finished and a new year is about to start. And there's this “in-between time” that’s nothing like a normal week. It’s an interesting time of both fullness and emptiness, both anticipation and exhaustion. It’s a time to reflect on the past year, and look ahead to the next year. But before moving forward into 2022, know that this “in-between time” for us as Love146 is a really, really crucial time. It's a time historically that many people, including people like you, have been incredibly generous in supporting our organization.

Did you know your donations can mean more for your taxes than they used to?
For tax year 2021, according to the The CARES Act extension, for those who do not itemize deductions, individuals can deduct up to $300 of qualified charitable contributions, and those filing jointly can deduct up to $600 of qualified charitable contributions in addition to the standard deduction.

For corporate donors, the adjusted gross income limit for charitable cash contributions remains increased as well. In 2021, corporations can deduct up to 25 percent of taxable income (formerly 10 percent prior to the CARES Act).
