Advocate for Strong Public Policy and the Rule of Law

  • EIE’s Children’s Internet Safety Pledges call on the President, Governors and State Attorneys General to aggressively enforce existing laws, and fully fund efforts to prevent the sexual exploitation of children on the Internet

  • Shine a glaring light on the multi-billion-dollar sex trafficking, child exploitation and illegal pornography industries and strategically dismantle them, one victory

  • Combat obscenity. This content fuels child sexual exploitation, child pornography and trafficking. 58% of kids who consume this illegal content are under the age of 14!

  • Push for Congressional hearings to hold DOJ accountable to prosecute unscrupulous pornography titans. This is the goal of EIE’s “Shut Down Pornhub” campaign, the ONLY petition calling on DOJ to enforce the federal child pornography, trafficking AND obscenity laws.

Expose Big Tech’s Failure to Place Children’s Safety Over Profits

  • Call on social media giants like Instagram to ban plans like "Instagram for Kids" targeting kids under 13

  • Partner with Congress to strategically regulate Big Tech giants that hide behind CDA #230, claiming immunity while profiting from child sexual exploitation and childhood vulnerabilities

  • Call on Big Tech to develop safer by design technologies, right out of the box

  • Call for age verification and stronger parental controls, in addition to privacy protections to extend to teens age 13-17 years old
