The incredibly popular Christmas at Wollaton light trail comes to an end on Monday 3 January. Visitors have loved this year's new multi-sensory displays, and the chance to stop for a festive drink or toast a marshmallow as they traverse the hour-long trail around Wollaton's formal gardens.
If you're looking for the opportunity to get out for some fresh air, but prefer to avoid crowds then we suggest one of the quieter, off-peak tickets; particularly the 7.30 session. There is good availability over the new year weekend.

The enchanting Storybook Christmas Nutcracker-themed room sets continue through to 3 January.
Plus, those after some outdoor adventures can pick up a Nutcracker trail map to find the hidden clues around the park and gardens.
The trail includes a festive gift and is available at entry points, including the main gate, shop, café.

The 12 days of Christmas outdoor trail is ideal to keep children entertained outdoors.
Based on the festive song, the trail costs £5 and includes a festive gift. It is available at shops, cafés and in the hall.
Plus, the "Titus - T.rex is King" exhibition continues - showcasing the first real Tyrannosaurus rex to be displayed in England for over a century.
