Friends,

Michigan and Ohio might be big rivals in football, but today I’m putting that aside to explain why my friend Tim Ryan needs your help today. 

Tim is up against extremist Republicans who self-fund their campaigns with their million-dollar bank accounts and have the backing of some of the GOP’s biggest mega-donors—one even has a $10 million super PAC. 

As Tim says, we don’t need another millionaire in the Senate. What we need in the Senate is an ally like Tim—someone who will go to bat every single day for hardworking folks. 

Tim tells me he’s running behind on his FEC end-of-year goal—so I’ve got an important ask: will you add a grassroots donation to flip Ohio blue and send Tim to the Senate? 

Tim just gets it. He was raised by a single mom who worked clerical jobs to put a roof over their heads and food on the table. He saw firsthand how hardworking families were doing everything right and still struggling to make ends meet.

That’s why I know that I can count on Tim to help me stand up for working families and bring good-paying jobs back to our states. 

With our 50/50 split in the Senate, we just can’t pass what we need to. We need to flip Ohio’s open seat so we can expand our Democratic majority. 

Tim’s FEC filing deadline is only 4 days away and if he falls short, his campaign will be in big trouble—his millionaire and billionaire opponents will see it as an opportunity to attack and drown out his message.
