Continuing with this week's theme, here's another Beacon Hill highlight (lowlight) from 2021.
We're not surprised that ours is the only state capitol in the entire country that's still closed to the public. But even Republicans had to be kind of shocked at how brazen the Democrats flout their own "public safety" measures.
Back in September, hours after voting in lockstep via video conference to initiate a punishing State House mask and vaccine mandate, Democrats gathered maskless in close-quarters to hold a party. We know this happened because they preened for photos and eagerly posted them to social media.
They think the rules don't apply to them. We believe they should be held accountable, and that's why we're recruiting as many Republicans as possible to challenge them in November.
