I'm Governor Laura Kelly, and I need your help in Kansas. My friend Gretchen told me that I could reach out to you about my crucial race that political analysts are already calling "one of the most competitive governor's races in the country."
In 2018, I shocked the nation when we took back the Kansas governor's office, defeating my extreme opponent who was committed to passing legislation that would have moved Kansas backward. Now, we're facing another extreme opponent who would be a repeat of our previous governor -- and he has the full backing of national groups who have already started attacking my record.

John, Kansas and Michigan are both battleground states. In 2018 voters in both states said "enough is enough" to the failed leadership of the Snyder and Brownback administrations. Both Gretchen and I immediately got to work to strengthen our states' economies and invest in our crumbling infrastructure.
And like Gretchen, my work is only beginning. I have big plans to continue to move Kansas forward in 2022 and beyond -- from cutting taxes, bringing in more business opportunities for our state, and so much more.
