On Friday, we're facing the last Federal Election Commission (FEC) fundraising deadline of 2021 — our biggest deadline of the year.
Once we file with the FEC, our financial information will be made public, and reaching our goal of raising $530,000 before December 31 is critical to showing the strength of our bold, progressive movement.
The average contribution to our campaign this year is just $20.84, and we're proud of that number. Those contributions come from everyday people who believe in our movement for equity and justice, and who give whatever they can afford, whenever they can afford to.
Republicans and special interests in Washington are already taking aim at our progressive movement, and they're gearing up for an expensive campaign in 2022. We need to show that we have the power of the people on our side, and raising the resources we need to fight back against their attacks will do just that.
