HUGE news from Texas, John: Eliz Markowitz has finished in first place and will head to a runoff! This is HUGE news for pro-equality forces in Texas. 

This race is one of the most important state legislative races of 2019 and was considered a bellwether race for 2020. When we defeat anti-LGBTQ opponents with an LGBTQ candidate in a conservative district in Texas, we’ll prove that our candidates can help create pro-equality majorities in state legislatures throughout the country next year.
