John, with a new year approaching a lot of people may be thinking about a resolution for 2022. Well we know what Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are thinking – take back the U.S. Senate in 2022.
They would love nothing more than to take back the Senate majority so they can push their agenda to undermine abortion and voting rights, stop meaningful solutions on climate change, and go all out in their attacks on science and the facts.
And folks, the path to preventing Mitch McConnell from retaking the Senate runs right through Pennsylvania. This is the only open seat in a state where President Biden won last year, and our best opportunity to pick up a seat.
But Senate Republicans have more than $30 million in the bank to defend their seats in battleground states like Pennsylvania, and Republicans in this race have already reserved $7 million in TV ads to boost their efforts.
And to make matters worse, new polling shows Dr. Oz, a former Donald Trump advisor who’s ready to keep on spreading pseudoscience and undermining data and facts, could be leading his opponents by double digits.
Make no mistake: Val, a public health official and physician of more than 20 years, is the only candidate with the experience to go toe-to-toe with Dr. Oz and Senate Republicans to flip this seat. She’s even been called the “anti-Oz.”
Val is 100% focused on Pennsylvania, which is why she’s not taking a dime from corporate PACs. That also means she’s counting on this grassroots team to help her get there.
