We did it! We shut down the patently frivolous lawsuit Antifa loons filed
against Andy Ngo.

 

But because of YOUR support, we were able to swiftly shut down their feeble
attack.

 

You see, earlier this month, Grace Morgan and Melissa Lewis, who masquerade as
journalists sued Andy Ngo for retweeting their videos on Twitter.

 

In other words, they tried to claim that Andy was stealing their intellectual
property because he retweeted videos that they voluntarily uploaded to Twitter
for the world to retweet.

 

Twitter’s terms of service are clear, if you upload a video to Twitter, you’ve
extended a license for anyone to comment or retweet!

 

Obviously, this case didn’t have any standing and was a petty ploy to silence
Andy.

 

In fact, Lewis admitted that she was bringing the lawsuit against Andy just to
stop him from reporting on Antifa:

"Putting our community at risk” is just Antifa’s code for “reporting on what
they actually do.”

 

And what Antifa actually does is assault journalists, stage and coordinate
riots, and brutalize conservative activists.

 

Lewis goes on to tweet about how mad she was that the lawyer she worked with
was expecting compensation for the time he took to file the lawsuit.

From beginning to end, this was a pathetic and petty attempt to stop one of
the bravest journalists today.

 

And while their legal attack was flimsy and fell apart as soon as we
responded, fighting frivolous lawsuits is still costly, time consuming, and
stressful.

 

It’s often enough to silence conservative commentators and journalists.

 

But because of your support, we’re able to preempt and prevent plots like this
one.

 

As a result, Morgan and Lewis dismissed their case against Andy, knowing they
had no hope of winning against our top-notch legal team at Center for American
Liberty.

 

When asked why they dismissed the case, Lewis responded, “Andy’s lawyers are
animals.”

Your support is so important, because without it, we may not have been able to
step up to respond to these thugs on behalf of Andy...

 

...And they would have been unchecked in their attempts to bully Andy into
silence via lawsuit.
