History in Boston!

Hey John – great news from Massachusetts! We’ve made LGBTQ history in Boston!

Liz Breadon has won her race, becoming the first openly LGBTQ woman ever elected to the Boston City Council! It has been more than 25 years since any openly LGBTQ person was elected to the council, so this is a huge step forward for Boston and ensures our community will have key voices to fight for equality in the years ahead.

And that’s not all! Holly Ryan also made history tonight in her race for Newton City Council, becoming one of the first openly trans people elected in Massachusetts!

Wish our historic candidates congratulations on their amazing wins!

Thanks again for your support –
