Elections are decided by those who show up -- and today in Virginia, progressives showed up in droves.

The Stand Up America community played a critical role in turning out voters in key districts in Virginia, and tonight multiple seats were flipped by progressive candidates, putting both the Virginia House of Delegates and State Senate in Democratic control.

This is a huge win for progressive policy change in Virginia, from gun safety to redistricting, and it's an important bellwether of progressive energy heading into 2020.

Stand Up America volunteers sent over 206,000 text messages to Virginia voters to encourage them to vote in this year's election. Thank you! It made a huge difference.

I'm proud of what we achieved today, but we can't slow down. We're less than a year away from the 2020 election, and Stand Up America will play a key role in mobilizing voters to defeat Trump and pass democracy-strengthening policies at the ballot box.
