John, December is an important month for us.
This month marks a very critical Federal Elections Commission end-of-quarter fundraising deadline and is the last end-of-quarter deadline before our primary election on March 1st.
Henry Cuellar’s donors and Republicans alike are expecting us to fall short. So we must seize this moment to show the strength of our grassroots movement to defeat Henry Cuellar and bring the change that our communities have been demanding for years.
But in order to do that, we must post big fundraising numbers before the new year so we’re launching a new goal to reach $18,000 by December 31st. Jessica needs as many supporters like you to contribute and help send her to Congress so she can begin making real progress for South Texans and our country..

Henry Cuellar claims to be a Democrat, but his record tells a different truth:
- He’s backed by the NRA, Big Oil, the Koch Network, the private prison industry, and corporate special interests.
- He consistently votes with Republicans — as a matter of fact, he’s voted more than 70% of the time with Donald Trump.
- He worked with 9 other moderate Democrats in the House and with Senators Manchin and Sinema in the Senate to try to obstruct President Biden’s budget spending bill that would strengthen and expand Medicare and so much more.
It’s safe to say that South Texans — and our country as a whole — deserve far better than what Henry Cuellar has to offer. And we have a real chance to replace him with a strong progressive like Jessica Cisneros who will fight for working families and their best interests. Not corporations or special interest groups.
