Senate Republicans have raised more than $76 million this year alone — cash they’re already funneling into battleground states to attack and defeat vulnerable Democrats. With a critical Senate seat up for grabs here in Wisconsin, our team is expecting the GOP will spend millions of dollars flooding our airwaves in an effort to flip our state red in 2022. We need to be ready to fight back.
It’s going to be an uphill battle to keep up with Mitch McConnell’s network of shady megadonors, but I know this grassroots team is up for the challenge. We’ve never let hard-work and perseverance stand in the way of accomplishing great change and necessary progress.
In 2018, this team fought off the GOP’s dark money network and helped me win re-election by double digits (!) in a state that went to Trump just two years earlier. Our victory here helped Democrats down the ballot win their races, too.
And last year, we witnessed record-breaking numbers of voters heading to the polls to help us flip Wisconsin blue, send President Biden to the White House, protect our majority in the House, and secure the Senate majority.
Now that we’re days away from officially entering the midterm election year, we need to re-energize our efforts and keep the momentum going to protect and expand our slim Democratic majorities and continue fighting for progress for Wisconsin’s working families. But we can’t do it without the support of this incredible grassroots team, so I’m asking:
