News Replay: Tennessee offered a $9+ million incentive package to Smith & Wesson to move their operations from Connecticut, Missouri and Springfield, MA Headquarters to their state. Smith & Wesson CEO uses gun legislation as reason they were 'forced' to move their headquarters out of Springfield. “Even if our bill (H.4303) were to become law, Smith & Wesson would still be able to manufacture these weapons in Massachusetts for military and law enforcement use.
