Dear Friends,

In connection with a new youth-led petition for rulemaking to secure 100% renewable energy in Florida, which is supported by Our Children’s Trust, we are excited to invite you to a live online event. Join us on January 5th to stand in solidarity with Florida youth as they file their petition calling for 100% renewable energy!

Led by four of the former youth plaintiffs in Reynolds v. State of Florida, young people from across the state will file this new petition for rulemaking with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) asking it to establish a goal to generate 100% of Florida’s electricity from renewable energy by 2050.

On January 5th, we will come together online to file the petition on behalf of these brave youth calling for a safer, cleaner, more sustainable climate future in the Sunshine State!

Join us on January 5th!
On Wednesday, January 5th at 11:00am EST, join us online to hear from some of the young Floridians leading this petition for rulemaking. You’ll also hear from Our Children’s Trust Attorney Andrea Rodgers and watch as we submit the petition LIVE to FDACS. If you’re a Floridian under the age of 25, you can also sign the petition before or at the event!
