Earlier this month, Stacey Abrams launched her campaign to be the next governor of Georgia, and before the end-of-year deadline, I want to ask you to make a contribution to her campaign.

She came within striking distance in 2018, and it’s her vision and work that helped us flip Georgia and take back the White House and Senate. Georgia is likely to be the biggest battleground state again in 2022, and she needs our help to win.

Can you split a $5 donation between Stacey Abrams’ campaign for governor and my re-election before the end-of-year deadline? This is one of the most important races in one of the most important states — so every dollar is going to make a difference.

There are few people who have been more vocal about the importance of protecting our democracy and the right to vote than Stacey Abrams.

That is especially important at a time when the threat to democracy posed by Trump's Republican Party is so dire. This new turn to openly rig elections is nation-ending stuff from Republicans, and we need to be fully aware of what’s at stake.

Winning this race next year is so much bigger than just Georgia. Imagine what Republicans could try in future elections. If Georgia is as close in 2024 as it was last year, just think about the difference between having Stacey Abrams leading the state versus some Trump crony willing to feed the Big Lie and overturn democracy.

Stacey deserves our support. She can win this race — and when she does, she’ll also make history as the first Black woman ever elected governor in our country.
