Dear friends, Stand with Parkland is a national organization representing American families. We are dedicated to your voice by advocating for practical public safety reforms focused on the safety of our children and staff at school, improved mental health, and responsible firearms ownership. Our founding families saw our loved ones taken in the senseless violence in the Parkland, FL school massacre. We first came together in 2018 to tell our story and find solutions so that no one else will have to endure the gut-wrenching pain we live with every day. Since then, we have worked with policy developers and lawmakers at all levels of government across the country and on both sides of the aisle. We’ve shepherded multiple bills through the legislative process into law, increased awareness of the school safety movement, and supported programs aimed at preventing mass school violence. In 2022, we look forward to continuing our work making America’s schools safer. We will do this by setting aside the issues that are most divisive and focusing on pragmatic solutions that we know will help solve the problem: Securing the school campus. Mental health support and screening programs. Responsible firearms ownership. The safety of our nation’s students, teachers, and families is not a political issue – and we will work with anyone who shares our goal of safe schools. And with your support, we can bring our record of proven success to your community, your state, and our entire nation. Thank you, – Tony Montalto
