Folks — Our final and most important deadline of the year expires this Friday. It’s critical we hit our goal but first, I hope you will let me explain why:

After midnight on December 31st, my team will start preparing a public report of every contribution from the past three months for the Federal Elections Commission.

Once this report goes public, Republicans and their dark-money allies will pore over our fundraising numbers searching for weak spots ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

Last year, this grassroots team flipped our seat blue and helped Democrats clinch the Senate majority. Now, all eyes will be on our fundraising to see if that momentum was just a fluke.

Every dollar we raise will go towards ensuring our work continues beyond this year. But with the GOP working overtime to reinstate Mitch McConnell as majority leader, it’s going to take an energized grassroots coalition to overcome the GOP’s megadonors.
