John,

This is a massive breakthrough: Moments ago, the people of New York City won their campaign to pass Ranked Choice Voting and put more power in the hands of the voters. And results are still coming in for four other election reforms across the country.

This is how we fix America’s broken political system – city-by-city, state-by-state, and we're just getting started. Right now, the anti-corruption movement is preparing for a wave of victories in 2020, and RepresentUs members like you are a crucial part of winning.

There are two ways to help:

  1. Volunteer to help campaigns win in 2020, starting with the next urgent fight: passing Ranked Choice Voting in Massachusetts. RSVP for this Thursday's phone bank here.
  2. Make a monthly donation to the Common Wealth to fund organizing efforts and campaign victories.

Our movement is on fire. In 2018, we passed more anti-corruption laws than any other time in U.S. history.

And this year, communities across the country continued the fight to fix our broken political system with 22 anti-corruption wins, from vote at home in Hawaii and Utah, to dark money disclosure in New Mexico, automatic voter registration in Maine and New Mexico, and anti-gerrymandering efforts in Virginia and North Carolina.

America is facing a corruption crisis. And it's up to all of us – from all walks of life, across the political spectrum – to rise to the occasion and work together to fix it.

Tonight has proven that we can do it. I am honored to be working with all of you and to celebrate these hard-fought wins.
