We know Governor John Bel Edwards has been hard at work for Louisiana in 2021 . Despite the obstacles put in his way by a hostile legislature and self-serving politicians, he's never wavered.

We told you we're counting down Governor Edwards' top accomplishments from the past year. A Stronger Louisiana is leading the fight to defend these accomplishments and we hope you'll join us [[link removed]] . Today, we're giving you another reason to join the fight.

As 2021 winds down, we know that this year has been challenging. However, through all the noise, Gov. Edwards continued to push for a brighter, healthier future in Louisiana by fighting climate change . He has positioned Louisiana to be a worldwide leader in the renewable and clean energy industry.

Just this year, Gov. Edwards announced $5 billion worth of clean energy facilities that will help affirm our state as a leader in green energy. One of these projects was the world's largest ever carbon-capture facility [[link removed]] that will also bring 170 permanent jobs to Louisiana.
