Team,

For the first time in Florida’s modern history, there are more active registered Republican voters in the state than Democrats – a dramatic shift in a swing state that Barack Obama won twice not too long ago.

With total control of state government giving Republicans the ability to change voting laws and redraw congressional maps, it’s clear why the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is emboldened and targeting Future Forum Chair Darren Soto (FL-09) in next year’s midterm election.

Team, our final FEC end-of-quarter deadline of the year is this week, and we’ve set up a $5,000 end-of-year goal to defend our majority and Florida Future Forum member Rep. Soto. Will you chip in whatever you can today and help Rep. Soto fight back the onslaught of attacks from an increasingly emboldened Florida GOP?

Joe Gruters, the chairman of the Florida Republican party recently said:

“We don't want to be a purple state. We want to make a statement that Florida is red.”

Folks, with so much on the line in 2022, and so much work left to be done for the American people, we can’t let that happen. Florida is a tough state to be a Democrat in – but Rep. Soto has never been afraid to stand up against Republican nonsense.

When Gov. Ron DeSantis spreads COVID misinformation, Rep. Soto is there to counter with facts, proudly receiving his booster shot and demonstrating to the American people that vaccines are in fact safe.

And when it was time to pass an infrastructure bill set to create jobs and upgrade Florida’s roads and bridges, Rep. Soto proudly joined his Florida Democratic colleagues in voting for the bill , while all of Florida’s Republican members voted against it .

Our final FEC end-of-quarter deadline is quickly approaching – and we need you by our side to defend our majority and Rep. Soto. We need to keep delivering for the American people. Join us today.
