We can’t let up in the fight
Time is running out. Triple your impact to end the drug war
Dear Friend,

We are living through exciting, but nail-biting times. In moments like these, taking action not only feels good, it also has an impact. Thanks to you, we’ve decriminalized drugs in Oregon and invested in health services, gotten critical federal legislation moving, including the MORE Act and the Drug Policy Reform Act, and legalized marijuana the right way in even more states, including many where the drug war had been especially ruthless.

Each victory takes months and years of hard work – after all, we’re undoing a 50+ year war that’s seeped into every sector of society. A war with a particularly brutal impact on generations of Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities because of targeted policing and enforcement. Each victory is made possible by the generous donations of our supporters who we are grateful for every day. Please let an anonymous donor TRIPLE your gift before year-end.

We need your support to keep pushing forward in Congress, in key states, and in our communities, until handcuffs are replaced with voluntary health and harm reduction programs.

Imagine a 2022 with less emphasis on drug testing in the workplace. A 2022 where marijuana use doesn’t automatically terminate parental rights, or prevent access to housing or education. You can help get us there. We’re making progress on multiple fronts and we can’t afford to lose momentum.

Let’s not leave match money on the table when it could be put to immediate and urgent use dismantling the drug war that has gone on far too long.

Help us end the year strong. Your gift will triple in impact to END the drug war and save lives.

Theshia Naidoo   Sincerely,

Theshia Naidoo

P.S. Drug war zealots are working hard, too. This movement can’t afford to lose $150,000. Donate now before the match expires.
