Thanks to you, we’ve decriminalized drugs in Oregon and invested in health services, gotten critical federal legislation moving, including the MORE Act and the Drug Policy Reform Act, and legalized marijuana the right way in even more states, including many where the drug war had been especially ruthless.
Each victory takes months and years of hard work – after all, we’re undoing a 50+ year war that’s seeped into every sector of society. A war with a particularly brutal impact on generations of Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities because of targeted policing and enforcement.
