My name is Tom Winter, and I’m running for Montana’s brand new congressional seat in 2022.
This is an evenly divided district, meaning the right Democrat can win. I won my election to the state legislature, and we have a plan to claim this seat for progressives. We’ll need your help, and I’m asking for it today.
Democratic voters, rural Independent and Republican voters, and Native American voters in this district know that Montana used to be a place where working people could afford a house, healthcare, an education for them and their kids – but that’s not a reality for many in our state anymore.
I’m listening to them, and they’re listening to me when I say that Republicans are not helping, the Democratic establishment has been too weak, and we need bold progressives to make people’s lives better. If you agree with this analysis, I need your early support – today.
My main Republican opponent is Ryan Zinke. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because he was a Congressman who quit to join the Trump administration – and then left in disgrace amidst rampant corruption. (He was Interior Secretary. PCCC ally Deb Haaland is about a million times better in that position.)
Kevin McCarthy and the national Republicans are prepared to do whatever it takes to bring Zinke back to Congress. Tricking voters with misleading ads, implementing voter suppression tactics, discrediting the election in the media – that’s all on the table.
I don’t have their Koch funding. But I’m thankful to be a part of the bold progressive PCCC community. Supporters like you allow us to run the robust campaigns we need to win victories for progressive champions across the country.
