Hi John,
“The Capitol Insurrection Was as
Christian Nationalist as It Gets.”
That was the headline in the New York Times weeks after a mob of supporters of President Donald Trump attacked the United States Capitol.
Carrying Christian flags, speaking in tongues, and kneeling to pray before charging the Capitol, Christian Nationalists sought to overturn the election, believing Trump’s false claim that the election had been stolen.
Just a few weeks ago, they backed “the most explicitly evangelical candidate in the modern Virginia party”, and successfully installed Glenn Younkin as VA Governor despite President Biden winning the state by more than 10% less than two years ago.
We’re fighting back, by recruiting and helping to elect atheists and humanists to local, state, and federal offices. But we must raise $10,000 by December 31st in order to ramp up our efforts as we head into 2022.

We’re proud of our track record so far. With the support of generous individuals like you, since 2016, we’ve increased the number of legislators who publicly identify with the atheist or humanist community by twelve times.
Your year-end donation today ensures we will build on this momentum next year when a critical midterm election will determine who controls Congress.

P.S. We only have four days until we hit our December 31 deadline, and we’re still short of our goal. Please donate $10, $25, $50, or anything you can afford today to stop insurrectionists from securing more power.
