News broke revealing Zinke’s financial disclosures over the past year. Since his forced resignation from the Trump Administration, Zinke has raked in hundreds of thousands of dollars in income from consulting fees working for the fossil fuel industry.
His employers represent the same interests that try to exploit our public lands and national monuments for oil exploration. They're the same folks he helped when he gutted environmental restrictions as the Interior Secretary. And they're the same interests who are now funneling cash to his campaign to get him back to Washington to do their bidding.
Zinke is not even trying to hide where his interests lie, and we can all agree that Montana deserves better. If you want to make sure he never gets the chance to hold office again, then chip in a $3 donation before my end-of-year deadline. Let’s stop Zinke and elect a leader who will defend our public lands.
