Listen, John, I’ve been crunching the numbers all day and here is the truth: If we don’t hit our end-of-year goal we are going to have a lot of ground to make up.
Like Dave Wasserman said, while most districts will be playing defense, we’ll be playing offense – to put it simply, with this new map Christy can win this seat. But playing offense still takes a lot of resources and frankly, we need to be able to take full advantage of this moment.

Because truth be told, it's not easy running a grassroots campaign. Relying on money from grassroots donors often forces us to make tough decisions.
When the money doesn't come in, it could force us to cut an important ad buy that will get Christy's name out there, or prevent us from hiring new staff to get out and talk to voters.
But Christy's never been one to take the easy route, and she knows running a campaign that doesn't rely on corporate PAC money is the only way to do things right.
Unlike our opponent, Mike Garcia (who is already sitting pretty with a 2022 war chest of millions from corporate PACs and special interests) our grassroots team is beholden to YOU, the people.
